Call for Papers: iansyst to host Assess 2012 conference for DSA Assessors

iansyst calling for papers for Assess 2012 Conference in March

iansyst (www.iansyst.co.uk) is calling education industry experts and technology suppliers to submit papers to deliver presentations at the Assess 2012 conference on 28th and 29th March 2012 at Mary Ward House Conference & Exhibition Centre in London. The conference provides an opportunity for Assessors, industry experts and technology product suppliers to discuss latest trends and issues and share best practice regarding assistive technologies to help disabled students in Higher Education.

In honour of the Olympics, the conference, hosted by iansyst, will be promoting a ‘going for gold’ theme, highlighting the ways in which assistive technologies can help those with learning disabilities to reach their full potential and the gold service that iansyst offers in supplying and advising DSA students to achieve their best.

The event, taking place across the two days, will offer attendees the chance to hear keynote speakers and experts in the field of assistive technologies, discuss the current trends and issues that DSA students are facing and the ways in which these will affect suppliers and assessors. Visitors will also have the opportunity to partake in breakout sessions to discuss these issues and any other industry developments.

With 100 delegates anticipated to attend, Assess 2012 presents the perfect networking opportunity for those involved in the DSA and Higher Education fields. The event will have a large exhibition area showcasing the most up-to-date products on the market, providing an opportunity to meet with suppliers and manufacturers to discuss the current products and trends surrounding assistive technologies in Higher Education.

On the evening of the first day of the event, there will be a conference dinner for delegates to reflect and to continue to network with fellow assessors, suppliers and industry experts.

Janine King, Managing Director at iansyst, comments: “We are delighted to be hosting Assess 2012 and we know from the excellent feedback we received from our first assessor conference event, that there is a need to provide opportunities where assessors can meet together to learn of new developments. We aim to deliver a high quality speaker agenda and welcome papers that will consider key issues and share best practice to benefit assessors working with disabled students and other individuals.”

Individuals or organisations interested in delivering a presentation at the event should submit their papers by 31st October 2011.
