The coalition government is consulting about “Support and Aspiration: A New Approach to Special Educational Needs and Disability”, its Green Paper - Support and Aspiration: A New Approach to Special Educational Needs and Disability.

Iansyst Chairman Ian Litterick has sent a response on behalf of the British Assistive Technology Association (www.batonline.org) emphasising the importance of routinely making assistive technology part of the solution when helping students with Special Education Needs. The response was also endorsed by the British Dyslexia Association, The Dyslexia-SpLD Trust, JISC Techdis and NASEN, the National Association for Special Educational Needs. Read the response here
