Applications for Home Access package are NOW closed
Over the last few months iansyst have been in partnership with XMA to help deliver the Home Access initiative from the Government to supply children with severe disabilities or Special Educational Needs, of low income families with the Home Access package of a computer, internet access and assistive technology.
*** The Home Access programme has been a runaway success, however it operated within a limited budget and time frame and is now closed.
The programme has been incredibly successful, with more than 250,000 families now benefiting from increased access to technology at home to improve learning. More than 8,000 children with profound disabilities, special educational needs or who face challenges accessing computers and the internet are also reaping the benefits of bespoke technology to meet their individual needs, which has enabled them to be brought not only online, but in line with their peers.

iansyst and XMA worked together on the original pilot scheme to provide assistive technology for low-income families in Oldham and Suffolk in 2009.
iansyst was established in1983 and provides assistive technology, consultancy services and training for people with disabilities ranging from dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, hard of hearing, visual impairments and other disabilities which may require ergonomic solutions and communication aids.
