Hope at last for dyslexic student

After an assessment this customer received a range of assistive technology solutions for her dyslexia
This is the experience of one of our customers who has received a computer, software and training from iansyst to support her studies at University through her Disabled Student Allowance; LM has dyslexia.
“Good to know what dyslexia really is and how it affects my day to day life, in fact it has been doing that for as long as I can remember.
It was difficult I found to get an assessment, correction, it was difficult to convince my employers to pay for an assessment, if I had been unemployed then I found accessing the support much easier, and if I had not been successful in getting to university I would suspect still running in circles. University were fab and not only completed the assessment but also made sure I have all the fabulous equipment to make things much more manageable. Dragon is fabulous highly recommend it, and I am having training as to how to use it properly. Computers are a foreign language to me, however persistence pays off and I am now on line and finding my way around.
If you think you may have dyslexia, get support, don’t be scared, we are definitely not stupid, the wiring in our brains is just that wee bit different. I am going to complete my degree and who knows what next.”
We wish you well LM
